Made from 100% Organic Hemp/Cotton from Bysshe Partnership (UK). The fabric is woven in Lancashire and finished in Yorkshire, England.
The Dreaming print has been hand-stamped onto the fabric in our studio.
The “wrong” side of the fabric has been used in this garment to feature the cotton warp and hemp weave. This beautiful fabric has a silver sheen when seen up close.

The black fabric has flecks of cream that can only be appreciated up close. There is a line of white hand-stitching at the neck.
A close-up of the the hand-stamped dreaming print. The print was developed in response to the ubiquity of logos and branding seen on popular fashion garments in 2016-2017, prompting the question - “What does it feel like to cover ourselves in words and what words should we choose?”.
The red fabric in the Soul of Things collection are made from 100% organically sourced calico which has been chemically dyed red in our studio. Although this means it is no longer an organic garment, this was a choice made given our limited access dyeing facilities. Further research is currently underway to find more feasible, sustainable alternative.
The words dreaming are hand-stamped across the eyelids and accessorised with found objects such as safety pins and a silver cocktail stick.
Made from 100% British-milled Wool Crepe, this beautiful crepe drapes beautifully and allows for a slight bounce and stretch in the garments. A technique has been developed in our studio to allow for garment edges to be finished with a raw yet durable jagged edge, allowing us to create various edging effects. We have since found a Italian supplier for organic wool crepe and the second iteration of this garment shown in Italy is made from 100% Organic Italian Wool.
Made from 100% British-milled Wool Suiting. This garment shows the simple slash and fold technique used to develop ties within this collection, taking a contemporary, minimal approach to garment fastenings.
The edges of this 100% British Wool Suiting garment have been double-bonded and top-stitched, a technique developed in our studio to create a jagged fringe effect that is tough yet visually delicate.
